The utility power will output a stable voltage through the photovoltaic inverter and continue to supply power to the load. The utility power can also charge the batteries through inverter. When the battery voltage is normal, the photovoltaic inverter will automatically switch to battery power supply. The whole switching process is less than 4 milliseconds, which is close to 0. You can understand this inverter as a UPS backup power supply.
